Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882), American poet and writer

Help Getting to Sleep When Traveling

Do you need help getting to sleep when traveling?

Millions of people do, especially when dealing with jet lag and stress.

Since millions of people in the United States are traveling on this Memorial Day holiday weekend, I wanted to share a few ideas with you on how to sleep well when traveling.

The link you see below takes you to an article I wrote for the large international health magazine, Complete Wellbeing. They asked me if I wanted to write for them. It’s a good magazine so I said sure, why not.

You can click the link and a pdf document will download on your computer so you can read it with Adobe Reader. You probably have this free program on your computer or mobile device already. If you don’t you can get it at https://get.adobe.com/reader/

I want to point out a couple things in the article.

First, Complete Wellbeing is not based in the United States so they use Celsius temperature rather than Fahrenheit. In the article I state that the best room temperature for sleep is 18 to 22 Celsius. This translates to 64.4 to 71.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

In general, the lower the room temperature, the easier it is to fall asleep and stay asleep. Click here to download the article.

Don’t Buy a New Mattress Until You Read This

The second thing I want to point out is the luxury mattress section in the article.

A lot of people waste time and money on Memorial Day dragging themselves out to the store to buy a new mattress. Save yourself the bother and hang out with the family at home instead.

Simply download my article, click on the mattress links, and in 30 minutes you can buy a beautiful luxury mattress at a steep discount from a great company.

How easy is that?

How to Use Light and Melatonin for Eliminating Jet Lag

Finally, I did not have enough space in the Complete Wellbeing article to go into great detail about using light and melatonin for jet lag.

However, I have some fantastic information on help getting to sleep using a combination of light and the hormone melatonin to travel the world without jet lag. It’s a bit detailed and complex so I’ll send it when I get a chance to organize it.

Until then, life is a journey. Keep exploring.
